My Gray Sofa Slipcover
I've gone gray or grey! Who knows the proper spelling for gray/grey? Anyway, On my way home from NY yesterday, I stopped by IKEA and bought this gray slipcover. I know...the girl who makes slipcovers...bought a slipcover? And yes, I drove to and from NY with a carload of teen girl's. {That's an entire blog post in and of itself...to be discussed at a later time, after I recuperate}
So...yes, I bought it! I love it! It warms the whole room up. I still need some pillows and window treatments. I'm thinking I need a pop of yellow somewhere. Anyone have any ideas? Please freely share.
Another reason for buying it was because I've decided to jump into my business with both feet. Sink or swim my dear. I'm no longer working for "the man." I've gotten so many requests for slipcovers that I didn't have time to do them...much less my own, so get your name on the list if you want some handsome new clothes for your furniture.
I'm having my Fairy Blog Mother do a little revamp of the ole blog. If you want your blog to be as good looking as mine is gonna, she can wave her magic wand and sprinkle pixie dust all over it...OR check out her etsy shop for pre-made blog templates! She is nothing less than fabulous at what she does! And she's my friend IRL.

Coming together
Here's a "Before we moved in" photo of the living and dining area. I big puffy heart those hard wood floors!
And...a not necessarily the "after" pic. But a pic of the progress made thus far! It's coming together ever so slowly. I'm constantly moving stuff...purging stuff...putting it back to where it was...
On that note, I'm about 8-10 weeks out. So, if you're interested in some new clothes for your furniture...hit me up and let's get you on the schedule! You can find pricing and info here. Also, check out my gallery of slips here! Have a great Tuesday!!

Our humble little cottage
We've moved for the third time this year. It's our new to us humble little cottage. I love it. It's a rental. Hardwood floors throughout. I can have Ally. I have a sewing room/office...which is still trying to be organized.
I am so grateful for all the slipcover clients beating my door down.You all don't know how much you inspire me to keep going! Thank you thank you thank you for being so patient with me! I am booked out 4-8 weeks.
The girls are good. They are with their dad in Myrtle Beach this weekend. I'm in Morehead City with my mom getting ready to head to Bogue Inlet Pier to hang with an old ECU college friend.
Thanks for all your sweet emails and comments. I'm looking forward to decorating this rental and I've even been digging into Nester's archives for mistreatments! This may start to cause me to blog more than once a month. Hoping y'all have a glorious Memorial Day! Muwah!!

Simple Barstool Slipcovers
My client just renovated her kitchen and wanted some simple slips for
her barstools...to soften the hard edges of the wood. Very simple white
linen with darling ties.
