Stockings hung with care
We had those red furry stockings with the white fur around the top...which are fine. I'm not baggin' them. I just wanted something a little more us & cottagey. So, I sewed!
Pink with green turtles...this was a thrift store find...a skirt. And NO it wasn't Lilly Pullitzer...she wasn't harmed during this project.
I let the girls, each, pick out their own fabric...then we all consulted on dad's.
They are simple...which is what I wanted.
This is what was going on behind the scenes...jewelry making...an early Christmas present from Uncle Bob & Aunt Vicki!

ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous! The pink/turtle one reminds me of Hawaii, oh to live there once again!
ReplyDeleteThe stockings are just beautiful! I love the simplicity of them.
ReplyDeleteI also love the little stocking hooks with the picture frames. I don't have a mantle so I've never looked closely at them in the store but yours are adorable.
They are quiet lovely. I love the "behind the scenes" look!

The paint color in my living room is Golden Ecru from Lowes. It's a great tan with a little golden hue in it. I'll be back for sure to see what else you are up to!
ReplyDeleteI love how simple these are. Stockings are something I did not get to yet and I REALLY wanted to make them! Next year, I guess. Happy Holidays!
