House Sold

Just thought I'd give a little update on our situation over here! We closed on our house today...but won't close on our new one for a coupla weeks. In the mean time, we are living with my great-Aunt Pearl (93 yrs. old) and my mom (who I haven't lived with in about 20 years). There are 6 of us in a 3 bedroom /1 bath house. Yes...6 of us sharing 1 bathroom!  Someone had asked me to share a tour of my home since we were selling it... We listed it FSBO and I made a blog for it...which I will now share, because we aren't there anymore. We had it listed FSBO for about 30 days and then did a flat-fee MLS listing and sold a few weeks later. The blog is here. The pics are a little bright because the windows were open. Our new home closes soon and needs lots of TLC...LOTS! I think this move did us in and our days of being gypsie's and moving every few years is done...that is until we go to the beach!  Enjoy your weekend!  We are off to the beach for the day!

Tuesdays Unwrapped

I decided to participate in Tuesdays Unwrapped over at Chatting at the Sky. You see, we are currently in the midst of chaos...moving...boxes piled high...kid's watching TV for hours on end while I try to pack the remains of this house. This is about our thirteenth move in my 9 year old's life. Get in the sun, read a book, eat a popsicle...even Barbie knows when enough is enough.
