Riiiight? Don't hate me because I'm ugly. My new 6 yr old owner will love me...only because I'm pink and green...not because I'm all fluffy and lovely to my maker. So, I bought Nester's tassel tutorial...and decided to give it a whirl. Not having any fringe in my house, I had to improvise...because I couldn't justify spending my grocery money on fringe...now, I can spend it on fabric...because I'm a fabric harlot! I just used what I had and hope I'm not putting Nester to shame, but this is what it ended up looking like. Obviously, I won't be making any money from these, I will leave the hot glue guns to the professionals. I will stick to sewing. It was fun and different for me. Thanks Nester.

We met at the local Mexican joint by the theatre...walked over and then our movie started 45 minutes late. It was all worth it! I haven't stayed up that late since college...and as I sit here working on my 3rd cup of coffee, I know why. We had a blast eating, drinking and being silly! The winner of the New Moon Zippered Pouch was #18... Krissa from Randomness. Congrats Krissa!

Here are a few lessons I learned in doing my first craft show:1) Cheez-its, coke and reese cups are actually NOT in the food groups. Bart Simpson lied.2) Drink coffee at night...ONLY if you want to burn the midnight oil!3) Don't wait until 3 weeks before a show to get all your product together.4) Hire your sister as a helper because she is ultra-detailed and can do math! Then pay her with merchandise!5) Last, but not least, Do NOT do a craft show on the same day as your daughter's birthday party, but if you do...make it a roller skating party and let dad do all the work!
