Day Trippin'

Beach Thrifting

We took a day trip to go thrifting in Wilmington. We hit Ivy Cottage, Thrill of the Hunt, Shop of Seagate...and a plethora of thrift stores. It was all about the thrifting and the eating...of course. We ate at Dockside for lunch. I had shrimp and grits {my first time}...delish!
Guess who else was at Dockside for lunch...

We were total paparazzi geeks! I'm soooo lame!

Then we went to K38 for dinner and I had the yummiest grilled mahi mahi fish tacos! "VitaMama", who is my friend IRL and a sponsor also went...along with my friend "T." We had a great day hanging out and would you believe that I came home with only 1 shirt for myself? No furniture! Where do you Day Trip?

  6. Girl seriously let a sister know when your're in town! And PS, Granny's in Carolina Beach has the BEST shrimp and grits served hot with Texas toast :) And PSS, how much do you just love Thrill of the Hunt? All that painted furniture makes my heart stop. Looks like lots of fun! I thought it was Dennis quaid too :)

  8. Geeze....I wish I knew you were coming to my town. I would have been the papparazzi pointing my camera at YOU!!
John Edwards has a house on Figure 8 Island, so I'm not surprised he was at the Dockside.
Next time you come to town you must go to the Uptown Market...to die for!!

  10. WOW I can't believe you were only 10 miles from my house. What a small world. Next time go to Vintage Values at Monkey Junction. Great little thrift store. Good cause too.
