Sometimes you need to leave the house. We had Spring Break last week and I knew if I didn't leave the house, I...along with my kids would.go.nuts. I would get paralyzed with projects and work and then frustrated because nothing would get done. And really, I know myself...if I don't leave, we won't have any real quality time together. My house is where I live and work. I'm very fortunate to have family scattered throughout Florida...so we packed our bags and hit the road.
It was incredibly relaxing. No sewing machines. No projects yelling at me to finish them. Just pure unadulterated relaxing with my kids and without guilt.
Little did I know, I would be inspired creatively. Sometimes you must leave your home to find your creative mojo again. Mine has been waning with the daily duties of being mom, chauffeur, cook, maid...etc. If you don't have a place to retreat for an entire week, do it for a day or two. Leave your house. You might just find your creative mojo.
I know what you mean...It is so hard to leave the house...but when you do...It uplifts and refuels your soul...So glad you left and that you are back to 100% Pink!...Hugs!
