Lake House Slipcover

After with gorgeous floral slipcover
This is a sleeper sofa that will be going into my client's lake house. I love the soft, subtle colors of this floral. Hope they enjoy it!
I've already got a couple of clients on the list for January and have room for one more. If you're interested and live in the Triangle area of NC, email me to get your name on the list.
If you're feeling creative and want to tackle your very own slipcover...you can download "The Lazy Girl's Guide to Custom Slipcover's." Just click on that button over on the right! And if you have Pics of your slipcover's, send them to me...I'll be starting Friday's Featured Slipcover's again in January. Have a great weekend! xo

Finally...putting up the Christmas Tree

By now...my house is usually decked all out with Christmas cheer. Not really feeling it right now. By this time, usually, The Charlie Brown Christmas CD has been played about 4.5 million times. I just turned it on for the first time today as the tree was going up. Today the girl's and my husband put the {Charlie Brown} tree up and decorated it. They saved me 3 ornaments to put on the tree...a beagle, a mini pair of flip flops and last year's Twilight ornament. Do my girl's know me or what?
I've been slipping furniture and I'm booked 'til January...so I can enjoy some Christmas cheer...or provide some without being a psycho maniac. I haven't done one shred of Christmas shopping at this point and I'm not doing Christmas cards this year. Man, I sound like scroogette!
I just read Emily's post and it immediately calmed my heart down. Go read it now. I want to appreciate the making of cookies and having the girl's home over the holidays...a simple Christmas. What about you?

Some of my favorite things...
Nester is having a Favorite Things linky party...so here's a list of my fav's!
Wet n Wild Lipliner in Willow #712 :: It's been a favorite for years. I was just getting down to the bottom of the pencil when I spotted them at Walmart and bought 4...just in case zombies attack and I'm not able to get out. Only $.99 each
Yorkshire Tea :: After trying this tea, you will never go back to any other. I promise. Cross my heart.
Red Bicyclette Red Wine :: It has become my favorite. It's light and not too strong. I like red wine, but can't drink a strong, heavy one. This one is perfect to me!

My friend Carrie gave me a zippered pouch similar to this one AND I heart it! I keep everything in it...including my wet n wild lipliner. It's from Ellen at Handmade Recess. She has the most adorable stuff. I met her when I went to Nester's Slipcover Party. She's just as adorable in person.
Go check out everyone's fav's! You might find a new one!
